Colonel Guy Tremont was one of the most courageous, defending commanders during the Cetagandan invasion of Marilac. He was captured and interned at the Dagoola IV POW camp.

He was the only target of a Barrayan funded Dendarii Mercenaries rescue mission led by Admiral Naismith with the aim of creating a Marilac resistance movement with the Colonel as its head.

When it was discovered by Admiral Naismith that Colonel Tremont was beyond help, the Admiral decided to rescue the entire camp, all 10,000 prisoners.
