The Soletta Array is an array of seven mirrors arranged in a snow-falke pattern with six mirrors surrounding a central seventh. It orbits Komarr and focuses sunlight onto the planet.

It is part of the terraforming project that is attempting to make Komarr completely habitable for humans.

Many Komarrans see the array as a symbol and the psychological impact of its capture by Admiral Vorkosigan during the Barrayaran invasion of Komarr did much to break the spirit of the population.

Recently the array was severely damaged when a freighter collided with it.

Its future has now been assured, after a measure passed in the Barrayaran Council of Counts to have the array repaired and expanded.
