The Nerve Disruptor Shield Net is a recent Beta Colony invention that acts as a passive defence against the use of Nerve Disruptors.
The shield net is a total body suit that absorbs and distributes the energy of a nerve disrupter bolt, preventing harm to the wearer. It is unknown whether the shield net can be overloaded.
The defence it provides is not 100%, as certain parts of the body will need to remain uncovered, e.g. the face.
A side-effect of the nerve disruptor shield net is that it also protects the wearer from stunner fire.
