Details
A fast-penta allergy can be both natural or induced, although the latter case is the more common.
The allergy is designed to prevent important persons from giving out information during a fast-penta interrogation. This is achieved by simply denying the interrogator the use of fast-penta. If an allergic person is injected with fast-penta, the resulting allergic reaction will kill them.
To ensure this does not happen, since a dead subject cannot be interrogated in other ways, a simple test was developed to detect the allergy. A small adhesive patch, containing a very small amount of fast-penta is applied to the skin of the subject. If a reaction occurs, reddening of the skin, blistering etc., then the subject is allergic and cannot be interrogated using fast-penta.
Many organisations, including ImpSec, require that its members be given the fast-penta allergy before they are allowed to advance to higher or more important positions.
A fast-penta allergy cannot be cured.
